Volunteer Positions

We need to fill the following volunteer positions:

Annual Awards Night Coordinator: Works with the City and the President to set up the evening; running of and ensuring there are volunteers for the Members’ Vote and Refreshments table.

Professional Development Coordinator: Lines up presenters, place and dates for demos and workshops, works with the registrar; sends out registration forms through the communications coordinator; ensures set up of room and arranges for payment of presenters

Membership Coordinator: Processes new and renewing memberships, manages member lists and provides member services. Distributes membership information according to the distribution authorities. Responds to member inquiries. Provides membership reports and input to executive on membership matters.

Social Media Coordinator: Responsible for promoting NFAL events, sales, professional development and exhibitions using social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Volunteer Benefits: As well as the enjoyment and camaraderie of being part of a dynamic team that supports NFAL and its activities, volunteers taking positions that appear on the NFAL Organization Chart; i.e. either February 2017, be part of the executive, a coordinator or a committee, receive a special bonus of participating in the month-long Volunteer Exhibition in the prestigious Atrium Gallery in late May to late June.
